Welcome to the beautiful Östgötaslätten in Sweden
Östgötaslätten, located in Östergötland, is known for its meadows and vast agricultural lands. In addition, there are small forests scattered throughout the wide landscapes, streams, creeks, and a rich prehistoric heritage. In the midst of this is my farm, and in the nearby forest, my photo hides.

From E4:
Follow signs towards Himmelsby Gårdshotell.
Note: Do not turn off towards Östra Tollstad.
Continue on the road until you reach your destination.
Parking: You will park in the barnyard area, where there is a small ”roundabout” for turning around. Do not drive into the courtyard.
Go through the gate and turn immediately to the right.
Follow the signs marked ”Fröstad Naturfoto” to find your way.
Accomandation:
There are several accommodations in and around Mantorp suitable for those visiting my photo hides. Options range from more luxurious spa facilities to good motels and bed & breakfasts.”
- Fiestad Farm – A rural option that offer a nature-close experience (about 500 meters to the meeting point)
- Sjögestad Motel – A classic motel outside of Mantorp (about 7,5 km to the meeting point)
- Himmelsby SPA– A farmhouse hotel that can offer a more luxurious stay with opportunities for relaxation and spa services (about 600 meters to the meeting point)
- Motorhome parking at my own farmyard. For those traveling by motorhome, you can park and stay on the premises, but without the possibility of getting electricity. You can, of course, also stay in a tent.
You also have all the accommodations in the city of Linköping as an alternative. It takes about 20 minutes by car from Linköping to Mantorp.
